Nothing is ever totally worthless, but nowadays collectors prefer the 'entire'. Too bad they did not save the cancel. By the way, if the "stamp" measures 140 x 82 mm the Scott # is UX25. If the size is 127 x 76 mm it is UX26. I can only find the price on the entire - I have no idea what a cut square would sell for.

I'll say it. In today's market they are worthless. I do have a dozen or so in my US legacy collection, which contains stamps collected by my great-grandfather. Back then, postal cards were collected in the same way as embossd envelopes, as cut-squares. No idea when/why the shift to entires only arrived.

If it were still the entire post card and it were in excellent condition it would be worth between $1 and $3 depending on how interesting the cancellation was. Since it is not the entire post card and is only a "cut square" I think you would have difficulty finding anyone willing to take it for free.

I'd take it. It fits exactly in the space allocated for it in the appropriate section in my Scott National BoB pages. The section is empty at present (though I have a boatload of cut squares in a little red box somewhere).

I would gladly give it away, but the postage is the "killer" in my case

We don't like the word "worthless" here, but... if you put 500 of them in a bag, No stamp dealer would pay a dollar for the bag.

I detest the word worthless. If I have to pay money to get rid of them I would say that is pretty bad.

Postal cards have always been preferred as entires, even in the USA. Different issues of postal cards may have the same stamp image and value but different info on the rest of the card.
