Can anyone determine the number of perfs on these stamps by this scan.
Trying to figure out if these are common, rare or somewhere in between.

Thanks.

Paul, why don't you get a gauge? That takes all the guessing out. Besides, the number of perfs does not mean a thing on its own, you need to measure over a certain distance.
But, if you are selling stamps you should have a perforation gauge. There should be a stamp dealer in Gainesville where you can obtain one maybe even for free.
As an afterthought, if you really want us to start counting perforations you would do us a favor by scanning stamps on a contrasting background. Like black for the stamps above - then it is easier to see the perfs.

Paul, here is the info on a stamp dealer in Gainesville, you should be able to pick up a gauge from them. They close at 5.00 today and are closed sat and sun.

Paul,

send me a scan 600dpi with black background for one or two (separately) and will help you this time, but it would be good to get a gauge as Peter wrote.

Paul, of the two the top one would be the most valuable at about 4 dollars. It has a pretty bad problem with the top perforation though.
The yellow one needs to be exactly gauged perforation wise - there are several varieties. Also, it comes In two different paper types, horizontal and vertical laid paper. Very hard to tell, but we need a very high resolution of the back. Of course, the stamp has perf problems as well, on the right side mainly. The cheapest of these sells for about 2 dollars, but the varieties are better.

Paul,

the 1k black yellow perf seems 14 1/4 x 14 3/4

1k black yellow looks to be from either:
- the 5th issue (1865, imperial eagle, post horns no thunderbolts and unwater marked)with 3 types of paper based on thickness, so here the CV for canceled is between 8-14 USD
- the 6th issue (1866, imperial eagle, post horns no thunderbolts and watermarked wmk#4)with 3 types of paper based on thickness, so here the CV for canceled is between 0.5-10 USD, but there are many factors that influence the value (perf, paper, wmk, inversion etc, I highlighted some spots on your stamp that might be interesting for you to find more about)

this is of course only my opinion (I could be easily wrong).
Regarding the 2k stamp, I will have a look at it later tomorrow, but it looks to be from 1875. Btw, I believe that both stamps has got vertical laid paper, otherwise you would see the 2&II and the same is with the I differently (talking about the stamp background and the numbers in the cells)
