Was poking around on ebay and a seller named postage-dues who seems to constantly sell the same lots over and over comes up "seller is suspended"?

Seller is suspended could be for something as simple as not paying your monthly seller's fees.

Take a look at Stamp Smarter so I do not have to say anything bad. Second page in listing reviews to infinity.

In this case the seller is the "British cartel"; there has been a substantial effort by some to apply pressure on ebay and other authorities. If you Google 'British cartel' you will find many hours of reading on this topic and the large number of seller names being used.

ebay has an automated 'Report Item' feature which is basically useless. But it appears that there is a slightly more effective approach. It is to contact ebay using this lesser known link for ebay Customer Service. http://www.ebay.com/scw

Thanks for the link. I gave up on this link after the stamp reviewers were removed some time ago. This was a very effective link back then. I hope the link works at least a little bit as I need the outlet.

Looks like another cartel name, bargaindiscountsales, has also been unregistered within the last few days.

It doesn't matter. Philip Ryle - aka the British Cartel - has lots of ebay seller names and makes up new ones all the time. They breed like rabbits. You cut one head off the hydra, it grows another.

True enough, as are quite a few of the other names being used. I get several emails per month from hobbyists who have been taken by these listings. Some have lost very large amounts of money because they don't get the stamps they bought certified before the time runs out on returning them. Other are very embarrassed and get disillusioned with the hobby.

It is good news that ebay has recently NARUed many of these names. If anyone has bought material from any of these accounts, they should immediately ask ebay for a refund. Because they have been NARUed, ebay will drive a refund right away.

Yes, some of the latest names are
bargaindiscountsales
air-post
collect-coins
mint.stamps

Some of these have been NARUed by ebay, a few are still being used.

I suspect that the only way a seller can get suspended of NARUed on ebay today is by not paying ebay their fees. The ultimate cardinal sin.
