The one cent is a very fresh translucent unused imperf of Gibbons type 7, perhaps pelure, but definitely imperf.
The 2 cent is confusing because of the wide margins except on the left side that shows a perf 12.
Many thanks

I think the one cent might be a trimmed stamp too. Is this not a perf hole?

Using Scott cat. 2009 (Standard Postage Stamp Catalogue, Vol 1 (A-B) it appears both stamps hsve been trimmed. Scott does mention that imperf. of the A5 were used as proofs. Now I am not an expert! This is of interest to me as I have many British Guiana stamps but not the A5 shown in above posts.

My Scott Classic (2007) Shows that these were issued Perforated. These were printed on thick, thin and medium paper. The note to this set states that if they are imperfs, they would be proofs.
