People are getting ripped off and it's now your fault by being an enabler by not giving Negative Feedback and warning others.

Was this not blatant enough to warrant a negative? What possible benefit was it to avoid using the system as it was supposed to be used? You had an opportunity to do something to help your fellow collectors and dropped the ball.

May I inquire as to who this post was aimed at?

stallzer, that was most definitely directed at me.

egbeachley, maybe I did, not knowingly at the time, drop the ball.
I did not expect her to be putting more of the same up for sale.
I did put a review on Stamp Smarter once I saw the relist of the same. I guess I know how painful a negative feedback can be.
I was trying to give her the benefit of of the doubt.
Now that I see the continued bad behavior, I agree I should have given a negative. Some of the negatives that I have read are for very bad reasons.

Edit; spelling error.

Once an ebay transaction is refunded/reversed, I do not believe it is possible to leave feedback, whether positive or negative.

Thank you John Becker, and others who have posted.

Let the truth be known, I did give her positive feedback.
I simply said "Thank you". Mainly because she willingly accepted my
return without any argument. I do agree with most logical posts. That is why I enjoy this forum so much. I enjoy learning several new things everyday. I do not agree that "People are getting ripped off and it's now your fault by being an enabler by not giving Negative Feedback and warning others."

I am still trying to understand many concepts of ebay. I will do the best that I can do for all of my fellow collectors with a clear conscience.

I do believe in second chances for some types of errors. Also that one with repeated bad behavior should be reprimanded.

My opinion, like that of others here, is that the ebay feedback system is crap, but within the crappy boundaries of this system if a seller accepts a return and refunds payment without a problem then negative feedback is not warranted for that transaction. Positive feedback is not required, though. The feedback system is based on individual transactions only. If you think a seller has accumulated a track record of poorly or incorrectly described items then avoid that seller and bring it up in forums like this or StampSmarter, but you can't wage this battle using ebay feedback if the seller provides refunds to dissatisfied buyers. This is one reason the system is crap.

I do not think that rlmstamps2012 did anything wrong here.

Irrespective of feedback given or not, I hope everyone is letting Collectorkurt's observation sink in. These lines do indeed appear to be stains from the adhesive used in a self-stick photo album. They have the right spacing, and they do this over time. I have seen whole collections mounted up in those pages, all ruined. If the seller has a couple of these they probably have a bunch more. Buyer beware!

Too bad when love for a father trumps philatelic knowledge and understanding.

I had a chat with the seller last night and she has ended the listing until she gets a certificate which we know will not happen.
