A very nice cover with some classical Pan-American Exposition Issue stamps. You should post some pictures/scans of the others so that we can give you more advise. What you have posted so far is very, very nice.
You may want to edit/change the title of your post to make it a little more acceptable and more descriptive of your items. |

It appears the 1,4,5 and 8 cent stamps are added much later.
Specifically, I believe this cover started as a common 2 cent letter from Boston to Holyoke. I bears no indication of registry or special delivery service, thus needing no additional postage. There would be no reason for it to have been at Staten Island en-route (or in this case 3 days after it got to its destination city), which conveniently lacks a year-date in that postmark and is a widely-spaced 4-bar style in use much later than 1901. Lastly, the check-box auxiliary marking is also of much later vintage than 1901. |

Very interesting item! John, how can it be explained since the second set of stamps clearly went through the mails on this cover (and dated August 25)? |

Is the postmark on the 2c a little odd? And is there a suggestion of a further cancellation at the right of the stamp? Or do I need my nurse? |

Stamps other than 2 cent added, "cancelled" with a non-contemporary postmark and struck with additonal non-contemporary auxiliary markings. Someone has some cancelling devices and is playing with them. (As John has correctly previously noted).
this cover was never to Staten Island (and never had any reason to), the Harbor Station post office probably didn't exist at the time (I haven't checked), but the 4-bar postmark style definitely did not exist in 1901. And there is no reason for the cover to bear the postage it does. Fake all around, except for the 2 cent stamp, its postmark, and one postmark on the back.

Wow how is it a fake . I have garage full of fakes then. Why people always knocking someone down. I will not post anymore of my finds. Jealous people. I will research them myself. Thanks for a first post on here... |

I don't think you can generalise from problems with a particular cover. And I don't see how being soft-soaped about something that is faked actually helps you to evaluate it. Carry on posting. |

Here is the same cancel marks from earlier 1900's. I'm dumb on the matter but I found the post marks on google...

mailman - Huh?
You have received useful information from experienced members. Your judgement of "jealous" people is not valid.
Members love to see postal history items like yours, and are trying to inform/educate on the reasons for authenticity or fakery. The stamps on your pictured cover are all authentic stamps. The 2c was used postally, however the other stamps were added after.
Also, just because one cover has some fakery doesn't mean that most or all of your other covers do! You may have some great covers that we would love to see and discuss.
Best regards,
Dave |

mailman stop being so dramatic. No one called you anything - all comments were about the cover you posted and no one accused you of wrongdoing. Experts have opined it's a fake. Unfortunately in our hobby, many items have been faked to improve value. Put the cover aside and show us what else you have. Your items may be out of the ordinary. |
