I found a couple of interesting 3c Small Queens in a recent
ebay lot. The first one is unusually well centered, but does have a pulled perf in the upper left and a rather dark cancel, which obscured where the guide dot would be. However, under magnification, it could be observed. This is a first Ottawa printing.


The second is interesting in that it is from the first column in the sheets of 100. This is proven by the partial printers mark at the left.The bottom portion appers to be the start of the mark, as a portion of the horizontal line at the bottom can be seen. There is no guide dot at the lower left corner of the stamp, because the column row did not have dots.
