Hi, I hope this is the right section to ask for help in identifying. After going through tens of thousands of stamps I ended up with a few hundred I could not identify instantly, most of which have now been identified. However, 23 stamps remain. I hope some of you will be able to help me concluding this matter for me. Here are my guesses, but I would like to actually find them in my catalogues (I have SG and Scott): 1: Egypt military 2: Iran 3-8: Jordan, Palestine, Syria, Bahrain, Lybia, etc 9-11: Spain, Venezuela, other South America 12: Greece 13: Japan 14: Taiwan 15: Austrian offices in Turkey 16: GB 17-19: cutouts from postcards (all 3 cardboardy), 2x Germany, 1x Hungary 20-22: cinderellas 23: no idea, has gum on back Thanks for any help!

Filipas Telegrafos ...... it's easy telegraph stamps of the Filipinas or Pilipinas , not in Scott catalogue The one with 1 piaster overprint is a Österreiche Post in der Levante Scott 34, some stain on the stamp may look like varnish bars ( that will make it a 34a ) but I don't think they are varnish bars And do I see a nice Hungarian Post Card Stamp ? Also not in Scott catalogue and need to be complete to have value ( Wein is Vienna ) |

Wow that was a lot of help, much more than I could've hoped, thank you all! A few thoughts/comments/questions.
I assume the Egypt militaries are neither in SG nor in Scott, right? And they represent no real value I guess as they must exist in great numbers.
The 1885 Turkey revenue is not in there either? However the 1916-18 Turkey is shown as worth a fiver, so even though I don't collect Turkey any more, I do have a couple pages that I kept, and added this one to them for its value. Nice find!
area66, I suppose by "complete" you meant as a whole postcard. By the way, in Hungary, you have postcards with a picture on, as you have nowadays, however the one in your picture is not a képeslap but a levelez#337;lap, is there not a distinction between the two in English to clarify what is meant? I have quite a bit of a Hungarian levelez#337;lap collection, not that I collect them, just stuck with me from old times.
And that Bahrain stamp is in Scott at $125, could that be? Is it counterfeited a lot, that particular stamp, to any of your knowledge? I put it in my Bahrain collection anyway, next to its worthless sibling.
Well that's it for now, still in the process of sorting this tidy bunch, will keep the thread posted. Thanks again!
edit: 4 stamps remain of uncertain background before I find them "homes": No2 Iran, Bon Voyage cinderella, and the 2 non-venezuelan spanish (?) telegraph stamps. They still need identifying, will keep searching for clues. |

I Hi , from my understanding Képeslap will be a traditional post card with a picture at the back and Levelez will be a card without picture, it give more space to write something |
