Hi guys..These Scott 693v stamps have peculiar markings on the stamps...See the arrows and circles..looks kinda constant.

I have lots of these and only two have similar, but not the same, red ink marks. Looks like ink spashings to me.

The strange thing is they are almost exactly the same splash..??
I have checked all my 693 stamps (not my 693v stamps) and they have NO markings..

The older I get, the fewer spots I see. But this is due to a nascent cataract just nicely positioned such that when I focus on a very
small object, it disappears.
