I'm filing holes on my album pages and have been scratching my head over one illustration which shows a setenant horizontal booklet pair with the 1-cent 454 on the left and 6-cent 459 on the right. My 2012 Unitrade Specialist catalog doesn't show this configuration. The only booklet pane it shows with the 1-cent and 6-cent is 454b in which the two stamps are arranged vertically. I also tried multiple variations of searches on Google with nothing positive being returned.

So before marking this down as an erroneous illustration I thought it would be worthwhile to pose the question here.

Thanks,
Terry

Maybe a scan will help, so we don't need to go in our catalogues to see what are 454 or 459

Sure. The issue is the 1967-1973 Centennial Definitives showing QEII in the foreground of various illustrations of Canadian culture and industry. The 454 illustrates the Northern Lights and the 459 illustrates Transportation.

The scan shows the part of the album page for the variant in question.

What at first seemed a rather trivial question becomes more interesting.
There is no Centennial booklet which placed a 1¢ brown beside a 6¢ orange.
The two booklets:

It must be an error as you suggest.

So the scan you show us are stamps printed on the album page ? It's look like they paste the image of the individual stamp, look they don't have same high, and vertical dimensions are streched ....... What album is that

I would debate that assumption,
My example of the 1c next to the 6c appear to show differing dimensions.

Okay, I'm ready to put this one to bed as an error on the part of the guy who designed my album pages. The 544c mentioned comes close to the image on my page but the 1-cent is on the right in the 544c pane and the colors differ as the screen capture from HipStamp shows.

Gotta wonder what the guy was smoking.

Thanks to all contributors,
Terry
