For most sheets the Scott 3 ring binder works:

I have the Scotts and I like them. They are big enough for standard full size (50 stamp commem/100 stamp def) sheets.

A lighthouse Mint Sheet Album is $ 25 and a large Over side Sheet Album is $ 44, don't look expensive at all.

Various Lindner albums at the bottom of the link - I presume that there's a US rep

And a Schaubek version

For the bigger items, I use Itoya Art Portfolios. They come in various sizes, and are available through Amazon.com.

I use these extensively to hold large/oversized post office forms and documents, as well as other genealogy materials. They are great, and come in a variety of sizes.

You can also purchase these Latoya Artfolios at Hobby Lobby stores if there is one close by. They often had a coupon on the website or local newspaper that allows you to purchase one item at 40% off retail, which is a decent savings and no shipping.

Itoya portfolios can be very useful (in addition to online, they are frequently available at Michaels craft stores and other craft chains). I also collect stocks and bonds and use the legal size ones for bonds.

The primary problem is that the pages aren't removable, which means it helps to be sure of your organization when you put items in them, or you have to be willing to take things out and move them around periodically to maintain order.

If I recall (I haven't looked recently) Itoya does make some products that have ring binders and removable pages, but they are expensive.
