The Vario pages fit in a plastic protector......

So I can use a Vario in a protector as separators betwen pages in Scott Album, Usually I print a page to accommodate stamps not included, but with Vario, I can adapt the page on the fly. Usually it's only the first page of a country that will really benefit from it. Placing a Vario at the first page, make way more easy to search for a country. So 2 birds with the same stone.

I will not recommend to put to many of them in a binder, but one or 2 at the start of each country is perfect.

Wow! Neat idea. It's hard to figure out what to do with stamps that just don't seem to fit for one reason or another. Even in my US album I have varieties and stuff that I would like to properly place, but no room. Great idea! Thanks.

I like tips like this. Here's one I discovered- you can use the Scott Specialty page protectors with a number of albums of other publishers. They will fit snugly over a Lighthouse album page just missing the binder posts. I also use them - with a slight trim at the bottom- to fit pages for my Gibbons Windsor GB album.

Here in real application

In the Scott catalogue they are missing the 2 types of Crown of Stephen with black numeral. I also added the 2 types of 1 electrotype To get a more good representation to the Scott Int. I add the 2 varieties in the Vario, on the opposite page of the Vario I added the Litho first series and feww Austrian stamps with Hungarian cancel

Adding a Vario as first pages of a country correct the lack of representation of country's first series, the main problem of Scott International albums

Look at that, is it not nice ? No need to trash $ 2 of mounts when I want update a page. And using Vario as interleave give way more option that simple Glassine

The trick is simple, instead of using expensive glassine, I simply use empty cheap plastic protector, if needed I can slip thing inside later. The protectors cost me 5 cents at Staples

Big advantage for me, is I don't need to include the insane perforations and watermark varieties if I don't like, also a missing stamp don't make a hole.. and I can play the Filling the BB game. win win win

Of course additional Scott binders required .....

I assume these clear plastic pages stick out somewhat beyond the right side of the other pages? Or is that wrong? If so, how far? Too far and I'd think the album would look a bit messy.
