Angore,

You might want to reconsider using corner mounts. The collecting community doesn't know yet just how well these sheets will hold up over time. Look at the problems with Scott 1552, the self-adhesive Dove issue to see what I'm concerned about. Granted, the stamps haven't seen the gum migration to the front of the stamp (yet), but we just don't know yet.

One thing I've noticed is that those stamps is that the ones with the fewest problems are ones which were in enclosed mounts. I've included an image of one for your consideration. I realize what an expense this is, getting full mounts, but it's something I do just to ensure the stamp sheets are fully protected.

By the way, I really like the way you presented the issue. Well done!

I spent the afternoon at the Match Factory and bought some new books for my library. If you get the opportunity to visit plan on spending some time there. Between the sales area and library you can spend a few hours.

I mounted a bunch of Bavarian overprinted 1920 stamps in the album. It wasn't until I was done that I looked at the top of the page: Imperforate. Almost all of the ones I had just mounted were perforated. They belong on the next page, stupid.

The classic male practice of racing ahead without reading instructions. But less time-consuming than my two failed attempts at a flat-pack bookcase before reading the accompanying text!

There are a number of places in my albums where there are mounts without stamps because I later realized the stamps I mounted were a different printing/watermark/perforation/etc.

There they await their chance to serve on the day I acquire the stamps I thought my other stamps were.

As for my philatelic activity it has mostly consisted of watching what other people are doing. I have a lot on my plate for now and philately must sit on the backburner a spell.

went on line and down load on all the different types 1 stamp could be. trying to get to the point where I can sit down with each 100 of each stamp I have and decide how to go about sorting them. and trying really hard not to start until I am fully sorted that will take a few months.

I happened across a nice early Elmira, NY stampless cover on ebay with a marking I'd never seen before. I bought it, added it to my collection, and then got the bug again. Now I'm going through all my collections to mount stuff that's been laying around for years, weeding out duplicates, and looking forward to building my collections again. This after about 6 years away from the hobby due to life getting in the way.

Finished inventorying my US used collection. Which led me to realize that the 20th century portion of my collection had more holes in it than I thought. Made a purchase from Hipstamp to fill the voids. In the mean time, slowly working though an accumulation of US precancels.

After procrastinating for most of 2016, am finally getting my French speaking area collection; through 1965; ready to go to auction sometime during January. Everything goes except St. Pierre/Miquelon, which I'm retaining to be part of my North America collection.

I created some more album pages for booklets that seem to be ignored by albums.
