Yesterday, cataloged some more issues from Hungary between 1977-1983. Will mount these soon.

Do you collect perf and imperf in parallel?

Another city that issued stamps while under British influence or occupation is Bushire.

Here's Page 1, an example of the pages I've created for my "Everywhere Collection. I'm just getting started on this, so some easy-to-fill spaces are as yet unfilled because I haven't yet decided on the "nicely representative" stamps for them. And ones that are filled may be later replaced by stamps that I deem to be more "nicely representative."

Interesting.

How do you look at colonial India that has become Pakistan, East Pakistan, now Bangladesh, and India proper? Do you see that as two Indias plus the two new countries or one India and two further countries?
You can have real fun with the 'Netherlands Antilles' that have changed their name, split up and then changed their names again.
Similarly, Imperial Russia was not current Russia and USSR was not Russia.

I generally, though not absolutely strictly, go by the names of the places on the stamps. So colonial India and independent India would be just India. But I do take into account name changes and variations. Your Netherlands Antilles is a good example and I do do all of them.
Here's an interesting set of variations that I do all of:
"Saint Christopher"
"Saint Kitts"
"Nevis"
"Anguilla"
"Saint Christopher and Nevis"
"Saint Christopher-Nevis-Anguilla"
"Saint Kitts-Nevis"
"Saint Kitts and Nevis"
That's part of the fun of stamp-collecting -- one can define one's collection as one sees fit.

Classic_paper:

I would collect Hungary perf and imperf in parallel, if I had any imperfs. I have not yet encountered any that I am aware of. I did see the mentions in Scott, and I do like collecting varieties.

Nice approach! Have fun with it...

Finally got a load of mounts so put away things that have been piling up, but that's about all. Really haven't had much stamp-related stuff going on lately.

Still sorting thru my August kiloware purchase. In the past week I have started in on the individual country piles. Russia and Canal zone were first as they were the smallest piles. Then went into Austria, France, Belgium, and working on Italy now. Been finding about 30-40 stamps I needed for each country plus a few better replacements here and there. Nothing outrageous, highest catalog value has been in the $2-4 range for a few French and Italian commemoratives from the 30's-40's. Have been able to fill in a few definitive sets where I was missing just 1 or 2 stamps. If it keeps raining every weekend here in NY I'll get thru this earlier then my expected Christmas time frame.
