Hello Jad,
I didn't realise you were in Oz.
If you ever need Australian stamps, I have bucketfuls, sitting around getting lonely.
You can email me with what you are after, and a suitable forwarding address.
If you are beginning in stamp collecting, the one thing you may want to entertain
before you even pick up a stamp to study, is the ability to "hinge" properly.
This is a skill, when properly developed will keep you in good stead, for the rest of your life.
Your target : to use a basic hinge, any hinge, (I use Prinz from Germany) 1000
for around $4
After applying the hinge, you should be able to remove the stamp from the page,
and the hinge from the stamp, with a barely noticeable evidence, it should peel off
in a smooth release.
This skill takes practice, use the moisture from your bottom lip, or whatever, and just very lightly dab the hinge, not wet, but just on "tacky"
Practice, practice, practice,
There is nothing worse, than approaching a nice stamp to place in your collection,
and have it "grab" and damage, make a "thin" or like many used by beginners, absolutely "glued" to the page.
The real test of a correctly hinged stamp, is the ability to remove with tongs, without laying a finger on the stamp.
See if you can achieve that

I may have a duplicate Specialists catalogue, if you want to pay postage
(about $3)
