This seller has a few stampless covers they claim are from the late 17th century. I have no experience with classic or pre-stamp India. Anyone have an idea if these are authentic or not?

I have no idea about the markings and cannot read the writing. My only thought is that from what I see on my computer monitor I might want to take a closer look at the paper on which these are written as it appears that it could be newer than the 1600s.
