Hi guys..Look a little closer at you Scott 131 coils to see if you missed something..The Scott 131viii has machine gripper marks on the top of some stamps..There are extra notches below the perfs.

Now Unitrade is aware of them but puts no value in their book as far as how much they are worth.

I am clueless about Canadian stamp production processes but know enough about US process to be dangerous.
Here is a typical gripper crack and gripper on the US side.

Gripper cracks form over slots cut in the edges of the engraved plates curved to fit the rotary press cylinders at the spot where the clamps held the plates to the cylinders.

As the 2009 Unitrade notes "... the pin holes were produced by the coil dispensing machines." This is a similar mark to US stamps dispensed by the Parkhurt Vending Machine Company of Indianapolis c1908.

Found American old coil stamp despencing machine, but nothing for Canada.
