I have read a couple of the threads and I understand the odds are against finding anything of value. However my wife came into possession of a collection a few years ago and recently acquired some more from an estate auction. She has worked on them and has a few she would like someone to value for her. We understand this may cost a little money. How much it may cost is another good question.

Does anyone know of any reputable people in the mid-south area? Thanks in advance for any responses.

There are reputable people right here. Start by showing the collection,(as much as possible). People will tell you what you have and get you started in the right direction.

Yes, show some high quality scans of the ones you think might be of value, and I'm sure several people here will respond and let you know if you are on the right track or not.

No, they really need to be scans to show the necessary detail of the stamp.

You do not need to bump, just post some close up scans of the stamps.

The three covers shown would sell for under 1 US $. They are very common.
