Here's some unusual Guam Guard Mail items that I found recently. These are the orders that extended Guam Guard Mail to the southern towns of Inarajan and Merizo. The cancelling devices were unavailable until January 1931.

I agree. I've been collecting Guam Guard Mail for 45 years and I've never seen any other covers like these in my previous post.



This is a census map of Guam in 1930. The cities in each district are shown by the large dots.




m6 Agana to Merizo September 13, 1930


This cover was mailed to Merizo only 13 days after Guam Guard Mail was extended to Merizo and Inarajan.




m6 Inarajan to Agana February 5, 1931





m8 Merizo to Agana January 29, 1931


They received the new cancelling devices sometime in January 1931 for Merizo and Inarajan
