"The 1d Red Kangaroo and map was the first definitive stamp, of the Commonwealth of Australia. It had a life of only 18 months, and 1,052,800,000 stamps were printed from 9 plates." (David Adams, Bill Bell, and Greg Pope 2004.) With my 60 stamps, I have cornered 0.00000617401 % of the market. |

Rod. I don't recognize the variety that you have described as ER42 RR1. Is this described in the ACSC? I may have to do lots more searching now. |

Quote: Rod. I don't recognize the variety that you have described as ER42 RR1. Is this described in the ACSC? Hi Partime. I don't know, I do not have the Brusden White Catalogue, (as yet) A colleague is buying the latest, and (hopefully) I'll take over his older edition. The condition as shown comes from advice from a colleague who specialises. Guess: Plate E, Right hand pane, stamp 42 rarity 1 (lowest) Be sceptical until confirmed. PS: I saw dedicated journals on (I think) the Kangaroo and the KG5 on ebay, for $999 Too heavy for my wallet, so I have to rely on bits of information from here and there. |
