I wasn't aware of that.
Would that be Barefoot Catalogue? or is there another specialist compendium?

Thanks.

Thanks for the link. A very nice book indeed and would complement the ACSC catalog. But shipping to the US is quite expensive, and I can't seem to locate any alternative, including library loans. I'll keep looking.

I might be interested, if the price is right and shipping doesn't kill the deal. I love fly-specking.

Unknown:
Tasmania
Seeking assistance to speculate what this may be ?
9d Queen Victoria
Perf 11
White paper, unwatermarked.
White shiny, parts dull gum, (Looks dodgy)
Maybe a spot of gum on face.
Litho?

Thanks

9d Tasmania sideface looks like single line perf which would make it Federal issue. Two issues one on V over Crown paper and one on Crown over double lined A paper. T66 and T69 in ACSC. SG242 and 256 but SG does not mention single line perf.

Regards
Frank

Sheesh!
Didn't even see those issues, Thank you very much.
There was a pencil mark on the gum "256" I just discounted it.
No watermark under fluid, but up against a bright light, I can see the double lined "A"
at the top of the stamp.

Definitely P11, SG mentions a single line perf on 1 side only on some.

Certainly didn't appear typo to me, I expected it to be like the Optd here.
So, I'll mount as a #256 (Sc#109)

Therein lies the other oddity, Scott CV $115 I paid $2 $1
Doesn't sound right somehow.
My 1993 SG has it at £7
