These Stamp Collector Cards were issued by AP in 1988. There were several Australian stamp issues, and one for AAT, using the strip of 5 AAT stamps issued in 1988.

Cheers 22c
Must say their use escapes me.
I wonder what the idea was behind that release.

Very nice cancel rod.
Looks like the postmaster tried to get an exact strike on the kings face, probably just a coincidence.
I saw one just like it very recently and thought someone had just drawn on the stamp.
Looks like a great reference book you have there

G'day Harry,
welcome aboard the madness.

The postmark not mine, belongs to a colleague, who visits occaisionally, and we chew the fat over a coffee, (He is a Kangaroo fanatic) he had the same thought as you, thought someone had drawn over the stamp.

The Postmark is a "Machine cancel" so no Postmaster involved

Hope you enjoy the thread and the forum, hope you pop in often.

Cheers
Rod.
