Die ll represents 85% of issue.
Extremely popular, lettercards offered privacy and could be sealed.

Postmark : Squared circle "Farrells Flat" 1914 South Australia.

CMA - could it be 'Custom Made Album'

Hi Frank,
apologies for my brevity.

CMA in context to the status of a Post Office Postmark.

Example : Farrells Flat XXXX to XXXX 1987 reduced to CMA

I am thinking something along "Contract Mail Agency" or "Country Mail Agent" etc.
The Auction catalogues do not have CMA in their Legend.

Community Mail Agent is an Australia Post term which seems to fit.

Looks like it is time to buy some more mailing stamps.

They will go well especially for within & outside Australia parcels.

surprised, I thought you would be using self stick from your stock....

Interesting Rod,about mailing stamps.

All stamp parcels get the greatest and latest PO issues. Will even use domestic stamps at my loss to buyers outside Australia.

For free mailing on DL envelops for stamp purchases we use older gummed stamps we buy at 70% FV.

But on the plant sales parcels & envelops get the cheapest form of mailing stamps I can find. Even damaged stamps are used. Very different world.

.......And our plant stock is growing beyond my wildest dreams.....It is nice to do both areas of collecting!
