"World Stamp Championship ISRAEL 2018

The World Stamp Championship ISRAEL 2018 will be held between 27 and 31 May 2018 at the International Convention Centre, Jerusalem. Max Stern and Co. will be representing Australia Post at the show. Australia Post will release a special daily minisheet, postmarked for each day of the show. A mint version of the minisheet will also be released for sale on 27 May 2018.

The minisheet design focuses on the Eucalyptus, which was voted Israel's favourite tree in an official survey conducted a few years ago, albeit it's an imported species from Australia! The minisheet contains four $1 Flowering Gum stamps from the 2016 Love the Celebrate stamp issue. For added interest, the minisheet includes a 'scratch and sniff' effect, which brings the unique fragrance of the Eucalyptus to life.

Did the second series of Finches for 2018 get released on 9 May? Not seeing any information for it on Australia Post's eshop, and they are usually really good at listing new items a few days before release. Latest items they have listed are the Aboriginal Cricket Team and Cloudscapes issues from 1 May.

I think Rod had a typo above with the 2nd issue of Finches. According to the AP Stamp Bulletin no.353 (May-June 2018) the 2nd issue of finches will take place on 5 June 2018.

Yes Rod it is nice to think on times gone by in stamping.Have got some very special memories that is for sure.

In the modern day am the person that walks into a room and starts talking only to be told to be quiet as everyone is looking at their mobile devices.

We live in a very broken and fallen world but stamping will continue as it always has.

My 2014 ACSC only lists the Ash Imprint block of 6 (at $8750). A strip of 3 is valued at $5000. Both prices are for MUH. Sorry, but I don't see a value for a single Ash Imprint.
