Try your local library system. Many libraries subscribe to the Scott stamp catalogues for their reference departments.

Once they receive the 2017 edition, you might be able to purchase an older copy from them so they don't have to store it. You might not get their 2016 edition, but maybe 2014 or 2013.

Shipping can be kind of expensive on one of these due to their weight. My 2014 soft cover edition weighs 4 pound 14 ounces; call it 5 pounds. That's $4.15 using media mail, which takes about 10-14 days to deliver.

I have also seen stamp supply companies sell their remaining copies of the prior year's catalogues for $20 when you buy something else from them.

I will ask my public library about that. Last time I looked, they did not carry the Classic specialized. Sound advice, tho. Thanks!

Don't forget intra-library loan. Up here in CT, my local library can get any book in the system. Can take a few days for the book to be delivered to your local library. Should increase your odds of finding the catalog you want.

There are a few on ebay like this;

Looking at sold items this should sell around $35.

I bought a "New" 2011 Classic from Dutch Country/Stamp Center for $37.

check Amazon too. It's where I got mine. It was cheap, has a libray sticker on the inside back cover and looked like it had never been opened :( and :)

You can also try http://BetterWorldBooks.com. They are a clearing house for a lot of libraries as well as other publishing and book outlets. Really reasonable but almost all will have library markings of some type. I have a complete set of 2014 Scott catalogs that were approximately $75 plus shipping.
