Has anyone else had issues with this? Showgard's own site recommends #188 size mounts for panes of recent Legends of Hollywood issues. Problem I'm having is that the last 3 issues have not fitted in that size mount. Have I been simply unlucky in purchasing slightly oversized panes, or are they wrong. I don't think they make a #189 or #190 size, which would appear to be the size I need.

Anyone have any insight on this matter?

Mystic offers a stamp mount with a black backing or clear. The number for the black is MM622 and for the clear is MM4209.

That's not the point. I want to know if I have oversized panes or did Showgard misidentify the correct mount size.

Not all souvenir sheets of any given issue, from any country are exactly the same size. They can vary from 1/2mm to 2mm.

Well that puts me in a position of having to find mounts to accommodate my oversized panes. or to trim them to "spec". Ugh!

According to one source, earlier issues are 187 and later are 181 but I noticed two sizes. I have not checked my album.

I use Vario 1C (1-pocket clear) pages for larger-sized souvenir sheets. One size fits all, no need to worry about having the right size. You can center the souvenir sheet within the Vario page to match the borders on the album page pretty easily, and they'll fit all but a few oversized souvenir sheets (and all US sheets, to my knowlege).

I cut my own using a paper cutter (razor). If a 188 size doesn't work, try a 191. I'm pretty sure that's what I did.

I missed that there was a #191 size available - thanks for the recommendation!

The Black Heritage sheets changed this year. They are now 210mm tall rather than 184mm. The 2016 Allen stamp has a taller selvage with Black Heritage in larger size font.

Yet another reason why I stopped collecting US commemoratives. Self adhesive was bad enough.

I used a Showgard #215 mounted with the opening running vertically for a perfect fit for Shirley Temple pane.

I thought it was just me who was having trouble figuring out which mount went with which sheet.
