Hi guys..Take a look at your Scott 1302/1305 and notice the picture I posted..The medical emblem on the right stamp is backwards...Bet they just reversed the picture to look better and forgot about it...What do you think..?

I guess you are correct. Having two people looking at one another and making eye contact is a standard design set up. Obviously design takes precedence over accuracy. But a quick look round the web suggests that globally organisations use both the left or right facing snake.

The correct symbol (medicine) is the Rod of Asclepius often confounded with other symbols...

A quick Google image search will show the Rod of Asclepius in left, right and double configurations.

It seems to me when I was a kid there were always 2 snakes. Doesn't it mean, "This guy is good at treating snakebite?"

I always thought these were strange stamps because of the huge backs/shoulders the people have on them. Not much of an artist.
