You're in luck!
Yesterday they were worth $.47 each. Today they're worth $.49 each.
The value of your stamps increased by more than 4% in 24 hours.

"Oldies"? Those look old to you?

No self-stick stamps are old. Worth face value, I think, not a penny more.

What? No annualized rate-of-return?

Since I haven't seen anything in print, on tv, or on the internet about this, I went to the USPS website and they show .49 for a 1st class domestic letter.. Guess I'm behind the times also.

Yes, it went up today. But only a few rates, like first class and some less common rates.

Diane, too late. You should have bought these last week - now they won't go up any more, at least not for another year!

If folks want a good rate of return buy vintage Dennison Hinges. Their rate of return far exceeds the overwhelming majority of stamps.

I love it when lighthearted humor makes an appearance, especially from a newbie looking to make the big bucks on their stamp "investments". :-D
