I unearthed these fine looking covers and my googling didn't lead me to any clearer understanding of their usage. I believe they are FDI ship Cds.

They all have a stamped address at the lower right is it a PO address?

Is there a catalog or link that I could use?

In order of pic.

S.S. Linguist. M.V. Tristania. S.S. Mormacisle.

Regards

JC

First Day Issue cancellations posted at sea.

Quote:
BM/HTOM is the cryptic address of paquebot and posted-at-sea cover collector KJ Nally of London and Bognor.

Most of his covers date from the 1950s.
