Albums are albums. The contents usually interest most collectors. probably 99% of all stamps will be collectable but not of any great value. Post a few examples of older stamps for people to judge the "character" of the album contents. If the stamps are contemporary with the album (1979) then the value most likely is very low.

From the others you've posted, these appear to be very common stamps of the type found in most schoolchildren's albums.

That is the Masterpiece? Well, in 20 years they will still be worth very little. Sorry.

I strongly suggest that you visit the public library and get a good stamp catalog, and then spend time determining the value of your collection. And remember that very few stamps are valuable. "Old" does not equal "valuable."

Good luck!

Other areas for you to follow...Maybe buy a Unitrade catalogue, or join BNAPS...They can help.

paul78703 had a good idea.

Part of the fun of stamp collecting is that most stamps, even old ones, are relatively inexpensive.
