The Vignette above was part of a serie during the exposition of the first types of vignettes issued (1897) in the world.They were a sort of propaganda for stamps in general.. Those days are long gone......What she is holding no idea. I would not be surprised if it was just invented by the designer of the stamps..but it could be the part as shown in this other poster.  |
