jmt - welcome. Nice stuff. Perf 71L1L is a great stamp.
Any of the Plate 1L or 2 varieties, perforated, are very collectible items.

89/99R2's are always welcome too!

Thanks for having me! Here's a #31 Type 1, I believe is position 100R1 with Double Transfer(bottom). Typical high centering, but w/ neat red San Francisco cancel.

Jmt,

You nailed down that 71L1L perf and imperf, and added the 71L1E for the finale.
I guess you were just teasing us yesterday. Scott 31 also great.

This is great thread. Some real good pics here of rare stuff. Doporto gonna be jealous.
I'm gonna have to dig deep to find some more DT to keep thread going.

rgstamps thanks a bunch! I have a couple neat stamps I've collected over the past couple years. I suppose I have a slight addiction to these old Franklin issues! Here's one a little newer: Scott #2476c "Triple Impression of black inscriptions and denomination", w/ other colors misregistered (typical fine centering).

I'm dizzy looking at that.

Here is my contribution for tonight. 34L1L Scott 23 double transfer. Wsinclair I believe has the imperforate Scott 9 cousin, in a sound strip of 3, middle stamp, with pinpoint perfect centering -- recently for sale? I think I saw it last week on ebay. I'm not sure if he sold it or not?

My #9 strip is 43-44-45L1L. It went unsold. My price is too high for ebay but I am not going lower. If I sell it too cheap, some #$%wipe will cut up the strip for the jumbo center stamp.

This stamp should look familiar to at least one person. For those that don't know, it is 4R1L, the only Type II on Plate 1L.

I have shown this strip before but it is worth posting again. The only strip I have ever seen that contains both the 8R8 and 10R8 double transfers.
