I have a few early Spain stamps that have a single 4mm hole punch. EX: Scott 242-250. I read, and cannot find again where, that these are stamps that were used for telegram purposes? Does this have a negative/positive/no affect on value? Thanks for the feedback. Paul
Stamps with telegraph punches have greatly reduced values compared to a post ally used copy. It's also very common to find stamps with a telegraph punch "repaired" to give the appearance that it was never punched at all in order to enhance the value.
