Good Morning Everyone,

I'm hoping to get further instruction on how to determine if these stamps are genuine, forgery or reprints. Pictures and details of what I have in my catalogs are not that helpful. I did look into Stamp Forgeries.com
http://stampforgeries.com/forged-st...bergedorf-1/ but they don't cover all the stamps. After looking at what they have posted - I believe my 1/2S is a 1887 Moens Reprint. Please have a look and let me know your expert opinion.

Thanks for looking!

souldjer777,
what do you mean by 'they don't cover all the stamps'?

I mean that they (Stamp Forgeries) do not have side by side / genuine stamp and forged stamp listed for comparison in all values. These stamps have such a rough print - I would like to be certain.

Sorry, I took a second look after your reply and each one of those pictures was linked to more detail. Again, my apologies as I didn't expect those to be individual links.

I have yet to find a Bergedorf stamp that passes all the forgery tests. But - I wonder if a lot of the problems might just be due to over-inking.
