Today, a Pound is worth $1.25. In recent history, the pound was in the $1.50-1.60 range. So that means the pound is down about 20% compared to earlier. That discounts purchases from the UK that same 20%. So if you're thinking of buying something from Stanley Gibbons or another British supplier, now's the time to give yourself a big discount. Plus shipping, of course, which is always the drawback with overseas purchases. And it's a good time to travel to the UK, too, I imagine.
