Most of us could tell you what color that stamp is IF we had it in front of us, in hand. Unfortunately the varying settings available in our computers, monitors and scanners make telling color via a posted image more of a guess.

ok here's a copy link from a current ebay auction.the auction says 1.vermilion 2.orange 3.green https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/HzQA.../s-l1600.jpg

there is only three optional colors F1=org F1(a)=vermil F1(b)=rose carmine

the 3rd option F1(b) looks the most like my subject stamp:

>>>>>which is "rose carmine"

You are still dealing with a digital image, generated by the sellers system, and viewed by yours. What are the odds you both set up your systems exactly the same way?

If I had a stamp that appeared the color that your image appears to me, I'd say it was in the carmine family of colors.

Here's a color test for you. What color is my avatar?

Actually it's violet rose, and a little darker shade than most, probably storage condition at one point before it came to me. The paper being a bit darker than other copies I have. Looks nothing like carmine when in hand.

The point being that as careful as I was in preparing that image, each computer/monitor will show a different color or shade.

Added to all the problems of comparing colors via digital images are the difficulties of describing color in the first place.
