It is a revenue stamp overprinted for Guangdong (Kwangtung) Province, so it won't be listed in Scott.

You are welcome. I actually have not seen that one before! You've been posting some interesting Chinese revenues. I've enjoyed seeing them even though I don't collect them.

Looks like the over print has varieties. Top three probably ink splatter, but on the bottom stamp, the bottom vertical characters are shifted up.

I suspect the overprint was produced in 2 steps, although I don't know why. Indeed, good observation, littleriverphil!
