Your ID is correct. Nice pair of blocks, with connecting 21Apr1948 cancel.

Unusual Postmark khj ?

Looks like a machine cancel, yet received 2 impressions,
Could be a "roller cancel" ?
Also the date in the CDS is a right angles to the district...unusual, not seen before.

I also noticed that, Rod. I agree, that is not the normal mail cancel that I've seen. But I'm not a collector of postal history or covers and I often don't pay attention to cancels (lash me with a wet noodle), so I didn't comment and I can't confirm your guess that it might be a roller cancel -- but I would say that is a very good guess.

On a side note, I have to give Rod credit for getting me to pay more attention to the cancels (silly me, I'm usually just looking at the basic stamp). Since that thread that you asked about the "köping" cancel with the diaeresis in the outer circle, I thumbed through my Sweden and realized I actually owned a few examples of it! Likewise, Rod will get the blame for giving me eye strain!

If anyone can comment about the possible roller cancel for parcels, it would be greatly appreciated!

@Rod @khj Thanks for you input here. FYI I just posted another topic with a block that appears to have the same type of cancel: https://goscf.com/t/54190

Gone are the days when I would get parcels from Asia franked with several dozen high denomination definitives. But I remember mine were always hand-canceled with the simple circular date cancels. I don't recall ever seeing a roller cancel on any of my packages. Guess it makes a difference which post office it was mailed from?
