Before this, I had never seen a block with two stamps inverted. Comments welcome. Thanks!

Mystery solved. The glue used was especially sticky and the two vertical pairs got stuck together along the perforations…

Yes, and you should take your time posting this. But..........did you know that such blocks actually exist? They are called tete-beche, and you can look it up by searching on top of this page.
