There's a purple mark at the center of stamp. At first I didn't see this mark because it was obscured by the cancellation.

I haven't taken the stamp off the card it's hinged to, so I don't know if it's a 409 or 428. However, whether it's watermarked is less interesting than what the purple mark is.
