I have two copies of Palestine Sc#67. Scott has the color as brown orange. Is the color difference between the two a variation not listed in Scott, or is one a changeling?

Thanks.

The top one looks like it is a later printing on wove paper and the bottom one looks like it is an earlier printing on ribbed paper. The Bale catalogue breaks this issue up into different paper types and color shades. I used to have a Bale Palestine Mandate catalogue but I do not have it anymore so that what I am writing on here is from what I remember about this issue.

The Stanley Gibbons British Commonwealth catalogue lists 2 colours: 5m orange, first issued in 1927, and 5m yellow, first issued in 1944.
