Quote: Area66 - that's more like a gentleman I realy make a huge effort believe me..... Seeing a watermark through a paper, a watermark that appears only between 2 rows of a sheet of 100 stamps. And the Newspaper stamps…… Wrong color, Perforations, Design and Black numeral. But the problem is not there, it's should not have been post on a cover tread here what look a newspaper from that period |

The 11½ may be worth to investigate more, I don't see the crown ( should be a part of it on the upper right of your image .....) the other one it's not valuable enough to remove it from the cover, but in any case I will not remove it. |

I means the crown in the watermark, what you show on the photo of the watermark is the intersection betwen 4 circles, the crown is in the circle look at my pic , this is the watermark every collector are looking for, the 4 points star or the VI in the intersection, only 4 of them on a sheet , so they give a premium, you can ID the stamp without the star or VI, put it's always a premium to have them |

So bad the Postmark is not 2 days before, from July instead of Aug. the 1899 stamp was release in Aug. so it's a 1898 or 1899 , but 2 days in Aug. it's more probably a 1898, not the one with a IV and the star, look about the same only minor variants in the crown |
