Stamp Smarter Site Update

The first phase of the Stamp Smarter upgrade to responsive design was completed a month or two ago. A temporary opening page was put in place until more experience and knowledge was developed. The final step has been to implement a new opening page with the following criteria;
- design appeal to both collectors and non-collectors
- present the core components of the site
- hold total page size to <5MB so page loading time should be 5 seconds of better
- utilize pure responsive design

The new opening page is now in place; note that if your browse has cached the older page you may need to 'refresh' (F5 key) the page to force it to fetch the new page. It has been tested with all major browsers but not every device/operating system/browser combination.

If anyone notes any issues I would greatly appreciate letting me know device/operating system/browser.

Very nice. Firefox took about 10 seconds to load the new Home page for the first time, but it ran just fine. Thank you.

Look very good..... the thing look more unified ( less disparate, better fitting together … I don't know the exact word , ) I have not play around a lot but here 2 things I notice related to browsing feeling


First , the X to close on the stamps ID, I think it will be better on the top instead of the bottom, like usually on Windows apps and browsers




Second, I was expecting by clicking on the parts inside the rectangle to launch another page since because the list of features looks like a menu. Like Visual Id. and Search by year ....so may be it can actually be a menu opening the apps in the Search by year directly as exemple
