I'd have to choose a U.S 398b because of color contrast to 398, which to my eye is even more apparent then that of U.S. 233 and 233a, although I wouldn't mind owning the 233a either. Just dreaming though, because both are beyond my means.

Sorry for the massive empty space below my response (not sure what I did). Again, sorry. |

US #144 OG - but with cat of $25,000 I'll have to be happy with the one I've got which cost about 100 times less. |

Considering the length and depth of my checklists and wishlists, this is a tough question. I guess I'd want to the the plate proofs of the National Parks (740P2-749P2). Didn't have enough moola, dineros, jack, pesos or quid to get the set when it came up last month , so still on my wish list. At least I got to bid on it.... |

There are so many!
For my U.S. collection, I still don't have what I most desired when I was in elementary school: a mint set of Zeppelins, Scott #C13-C15.
For my Esperanto topical collection, top honors would go to the imperforate variety of Russia #374, preferably a pair of them. |

Scott U.S. 485 ... the 5-cent carmine imperf error ... preferably in a block of 9 (8 stamps 482). Why I mention the block, I do not know ... just a single 485 is already an order of magnitude beyond my pocketbook. |

Lot's of extraordinary stuff on top of your want lists I would like these Sweden 1918 King Gustav V (Michel # 84-85, Scott #90, 92) - referred to as the 'Varnamo-issue' because they were used by mistake only in Varnamo. I wish I had them not because they are extremely scarce - it would simply be nice to fill the only empty spaces in the album (for major catalog numbers that is!) |

Nit such a problem for you, using stick-books and pages, but it's always an irritant when album publishers leave spaces on main pages for oddball issues that could be accommodated on a separate sheet! |

USA Scott 117 I have the rest of the set (bar the top value 90c..dream on about getting one of those without winning the lottery) except for this value, so the space on my stock page sticks out like a sore thumb, taunting me. Would really love to get one of this quality, but that is probably pushing my bank account too far beyond the limit to be feasible, at least for now. |
