Hi Everyone,

Hoping to get some help Iding a few France stamps I have.
I have three of what looks like Scott # 1293: France 1971-1974 Marrianne 50c. The thing is, I have one that is not tagged and two that have 3 verical bars of tagging. Scott does not mention tagging for # 1293. Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance...

Dave N.

Do you have any pictures? GB doesn't use cents, and "Marianne" sounds French!

No, you are not missing anything. It's the Scott catalog that's missing it. These stamps come both untagged and tagged. I have an older Y&T catalog that lists them, but it's not handy right now, so I can't provide any details.

Thanks Trainwreck,

I looked it up on (20130207) Not allowed by the Staff and see that it does list Y&T #s 1664 for untagged and 1664c for these 3 bar tagged. No sublisting for Scott as you said.

I wonder if there is any cat value difference?
