I am no stamp collector of any degree and have very limited knowledge on what stamp investigating I have done. I found an old, sealed sugar bag in a shed, on a property I inherited. Hoping for a bag of money left behind by Bonnie and Clyde, I got a bog full of thousands and thousands of old, postmarked stamps. Pretty sure they are all just common, but want to confirm these 2 cent Washington stamps are just that before I begin to bundle these beauties into small collections for ebay and the flea markets. I know they start at 554, but would like to confirm for posting. Thanks for any help.

Did I say or do something wrong on this post? Nobody has any info on these stamps? Are they 554 or other? This is the right post topic I submitted to, right?

goozex88, welcome to the forum. Your question is not easy to answer - there are quite a few possibilities. On top of that, your pictures are really too small to draw any conclusions with.

Thanks Peter for the insight. I will try to get a better scan of the stamps. I will also try to get a batch of all the different ones I have sorted and put in a new post.
