Are Any Of These Mint Condition Great Britain Stamps From 80's Worth Anything?

These are a bunch of stamps from Great Britain in mint condition all from the 80's.

If any of them have potential to be worth anything I can take an individual picture of the stamp with a black background for further evaluation!

unused in US or dare I say mint hinged, mint disturbed gum, mint no gum, etc.

If all genuine and in mint condition...even mounted mint... then you are looking a a lot of money. Probably thousands in total.

Stanley Gibbons values these stamps at around 650 pounds... i'd expect to get this set online for around 200 pounds or a bit less.

Gibbons catalog vaue is 1575 pounds for this two.

I have a few more questions regarding these stamps.

Would you recommend selling them as sets or would I be better off selling them all individually?

And my next question is.... where would you recommend selling these stamps? Would I get a good price from ebay or is there somewhere else that would be more suitable?

Since most of these stamps are stuck down onto this page, should I try and take them off or just cut the page and sell them still stuck on?

An auction house will typically charge you around 15% commission, plus VAT, and will pay you in around six weeks. They will accurately identify and describe the items, which may be difficult for an individual if he or she doesn't collect stamps. And it will have an established audience that trusts its descriptions,

Firstly I would get a valuation from a reputable dealer. Based on that I would take it from there... you say "stuck down onto the page" but do you mean with hinges or gummed down? If the former then prices will be pretty decent... if gummed down then leave well alone and sell as it is but expect a much much reduced value. Mounted mint is how Victorian stamps are typically valued in S.G. catalog with a premium for unmounted.
The high values could be sold separately on ebay for instance... some collectors would have part of the set/sets already and no-one wants to buy a whole set if they already have some of them.

Auction houses offer valuations - you simply need to send the stamps by registered post. If you decline their service, you'll only have to pay return postage. The ines I deal with regularly are Somerset Stamo Auctions and Warwick and Warwick. Others may be able to add other houses or dealers.
