Looks like the University forgot to pay the bill for the RetroReveal.org name.
I just went to work on several cancels and the link ends up at one of those generic pages showing various subjects, like buying sneakers and fixing toilets.
Crap - I think I have some 1862 canx dates and was trying to run them through the website!
The last time RetroReveal went down forum member PostmasterGS wrote a similar java reveal program, it is available from his website. Right side under Resources/Software/Reveal App
What is the date on this stamp? I was able to divine 1863 as the year, and that was about it. Faded out red manuscript canx - not my favorite to work on!
Now take that exact image and let RetroReveal do its stuff, and viola:
