Cannot think of any right now but possible if done by cds and a mistake was made. Used to be common up to 1953 with collectors buying new stamps at a 24 hour Post Office just after midnight then driving down the line to a railway station in time to catch the TPO whos journey had begun the previous evening and so get a day early postmark.
