Canada is one of the prime countries that I collect. I use to do a lot of trading when Dianne Earl was more active. A lot of US stamps went north while a lot of Canada stamps went south.

I ordered the $5 Canada Flag 50 year anniversary and two $10 Blue Whale stamps.

Now I have to get around to searching for their Christmas stamp that came out just after the turn of the century.

I don't know their site does not give a Scott number. In addition it is a souvenir sheet. But it is a real cool stamp.

I bought it because I love Canadian Flag stamps. I had to go back and read about it after you said it was made with satin rayon fabric. Thanks a lot now I bought another one. It sure is a sweet stamp.

This collectible fabric stamp is a first in Canada and an ideal keepsake celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Canadian flag. The ground-breaking stamp was designed by Kosta Tsetsekas and created by applying ink to a satin rayon fabric. The image also honours Joan O'Malley, daughter of a then government official, who sewed prototypes of the flag during Canada's great flag debate. The back of the souvenir sheet displays Canada's flag flying.
